Hard Family Moments

It has taken a few weeks for me to be able to write this post.

So many of my phone calls with families are about their experience with previous Goldens. Goldens they grew up with. Goldens that loved their children. Goldens that have made a large impact on their family's life but have passed on. I appreciate that people are willing to share their stories with someone they haven't met. It lets me know that the puppies that we appreciate, raise and care for are going to homes that love their pets as family members.

Unfortunately for our family, Molly passed away in February. Much too soon and not at all expected. She is deeply missed. I still expect to see her gray muzzle waiting to be petted every day I come home from work. I received a few pictures the other day of one of Molly's puppies. It meant more than that family can know. It came at a time that was needed. Even though our loss is still fresh, it's comforting to know that many other families understand how much our Molly will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear about Molly.

She was beautiful and I know she brought your family such joy. We lost Cara 3 weeks ago after 12 wonderful years. I remember driving out to see y’all and waiting for time to come pick her up. If you have a another female in a future litter, please give us a call.
